As a Democrat Abroad Germany member, I see supporting Ukraine as self preservation. Not only will it ensure that we remain faithful to our allies, and we help save Europe from Russian encroachment into other European countries and potential WWIII, but it also ensures that we will have allies and trading partners in other countries that are not totally consumed by war. By the way, NATO and the EU need to kick Hungary out. Serbia is also on shaky ground as far as I am concerned. If they aid and abet the enemies of NATO and the EU, they do not belong. If they cannot help but return to their pre 1990 alliances and a dysfunctional economy then kick them out.
I am so frustrated with Johnson for not bringing that bill up for a vote. Surely he knows what the stakes are. Would he really be happy to see Ukraine defeated and Putin running roughshod over Eastern Europe?
Putin, Netanyahu, and tRump are all maniacal sadists trying to save themselves from the fates they deserve! The fact that Johnson is doing their bidding, makes him a traitor to our nation and Our constitution. There must Be a way to give the Ukrainians the weapons they need- we MUST Help them and help ourselves, by doing it!
